Six French and Two Nigerian killed by Gunmen in Niger, West African country

Six Frenchs and two Nigerian a guide and a drive have been killed by the group of gunmen in a giraffe reserve Wildlife Park in Niger on Sunday, about 65 km far from the capital city Nimey.

The Gunmen came on motorcycle as a unit of terrorists and invaded over international aid group who had been working there over a long time. The assault was taken place around 11:30 am at night. Niger's environmental services said.  Most of them were killed by shot out with the gun on the spot’. 

The source told AFP news agency. However there was no immediate claim of responsibility by any terrorists group.

Despite the deploying thousands of regional and foreign troops al-Qaeda and the ISIL (ISIS) group have intensively mounted in Sahel region in West Africa in recent year.

Thousands of troops have been deploying in the hard- hit area from a former colonial power in the region since 2013 however the violence has been on the high.
